While seeing where the wheel pant height ends up when using the dimple in the Shell I questioned it's location. I would think that the bottom of the wheel pant would need to be above the wheels rim so that if the tire goes flat the wheel would not rub against the ground or the wheel rub against the wheel pant. I have not seen any good photos to either confirm this or not. Please let me know everyone's thoughts.
I can try to get a pic today of mine- but the bolt that holds the outside of the pant goes into the nut that is aligned with the center of the spindle. So, the bottom of the pant has to be lower than the center of the wheel/rim.
