Hi guys,
Any recommendations on tire pressure for nose wheel and mains? I checked the POH and the conditional inspection docs, but I haven’t had success finding this. Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Roger

Re: Tire pressure
The POH that came with my express when I bought it is dated July 1994 and published by EDI and it lists the nose tire from 35-40psi and the mains from 40-50psi.
Hope this helps.

Re: Tire pressure
After digging around, I found the following.
Nose wheel -- 50 psi
Mains -- 42 psi
I hope this helps the next person scouring for such information.

Re: Tire pressure
Same tire I think as on the RV-10 - 15x6.00-6
I found this item
http://www.vansairforce.com/community/a ... 47483.html
Says 68 for the mains on a RV-10
Another chart says 45 for 4ply and 68 for 6ply

En un manual viejo de la serie 90, con cubierta de 8 telas, en la de nariz hasta 50 y principal hasta 70.
Así las probé y quedan algo duras pero más fácil para moverlo en tierra

Re: Tire pressure
Inflate the nose tire until you have about 4 inches on the tarmac. Too much pressure will lead to shimmy.
