Grove landing gear

Hi,

I have an express ct with a 260hp IO540, serial number Q119. It is currently at 2895lb gross weight. I've been in touch with grove about getting the aluminium landing gear - is the express 2000 landing gear the same? Grove are telling me this is the only type they have made. Are there any other mods required to upgrade the gross weight?

What gear do you have now? The Grove gear will give you a 3200lb mtow but it wont be a simple drop in replacement.

I am assuming that you have the fiberglass gear, so the mounts will be a little bit different. My last conversation with Grove and a note on their website indicates that they aren't taking any new orders for this or any other gear. I am currently working on a solution that involves a different mounting and a gear that is similar to the Cirrus, something that we can get and use if needed.
