What way are (did) you connect the fuel lines from the wing to the fuselage lines? Simple hard line to union to hard line or hard line from wing tank to hose to ??

Any info, especially pictures, appreciated.

Hey Joe,

I don't have any pictures right now, but on our plane the hard lines come into the fuselage from the wing a few inches and then go to a stainless braided hose which connects to the fuel selector valve below the instrument panel between the seats.

I'll do my best to take pictures the next time I'm at the airport.

Here's a few pics of the fuel lines on ours. We've got the Lycoming IO-540-K so the fuel return line isn't used.

Thanks Phil - more great info. There were a lot of these details left out of the original Wheeler manuals.
