wing foam hard blocks
wing foam hard blocks
I think the hard blocks in the fwd and aft spars are 40lb foam. Anyone know of a source? Clark Last-A-Foam shows that density but no one I can find stocks it. I guess I could use a block of G10 but I'd rather use the 40lb (or what ever density it is).

Re: wing foam hard blocks
For those of you who may be looking for foam, fiberglass, resin or parts like door latches, I contacted Glasair parts and go a very quick and helpful reply that they had parts and would be happy to supply them. You can email them at:
parts@glasairaviation.com
I am waiting to hear back from them regarding payment, etc but I'll post here as I get the info.
Also if you need G10 hard blocks for anything, E Plastics ( http://www.eplastics.com ) was the cheapest I found, cheapest being relative as this stuff is expensive when you get up to .250 and greater. I have not ordered anything from them yet but it's a normal online store.

Divynicell is a good source- glass with different foams inside and different thicknesses.
Comes in sheets, easy to cut and strong.
