Level it at the door sill and across the spar carry through. An alternate is the firewall- it should be plumb when the plane is level.

Go to Lowes or Home Depot, in the cabinet hardware section you can find some nice aluminum handles. The screws are not huge, so build up the mount area with 3 or 4 layers of glass and use a washer on the back side. Get the big ones, and mount it in line with the slipstream. What do you mean electric flap system? All of them have some type of linear actuator, early ones are a Volvo convertible top motor, some like me used an alternate system. Are you talking about the pot that tells you how far down the flaps are?

The Express isn’t difficult to fly, and it doesn’t have any bad habits. The IO 360 models are cheap to operate, the IO 540 models go faster but bu4n more fuel. I added 6 additional plies of cloth to each side of the original rib, with the ends lapping onto the spars. With the heavier gear bracket it has held up well.
